Failing to perform any and all tasks of a project, either in the pre-award phase or the post-award phase, may result in a failed project, an unsatisfied customer, loss of revenue and most likely loss of future business from the same customer. Effective management of a project is the most essential key for successful fulfillment of project requirements and business development.

Defense and industrial projects are governed by strict requirements and standards, which need to be fully met. Mistral, with its experienced project management personnel offers guidance and support in undertaking all of the phases and tasks of a project. During the Pre Award Phase this includes:

  • Screening and identifying the potential project;
  • Understanding the requirement;
  • Sourcing and pricing raw materials;
  • Managing sub-contractors;
  • Preparing proposals;
  • Communicating and conducting negotiation with the buying activities;
  • Preparing and assisting in Pre-Award Surveys; and
  • Negotiating "Best & Finals" Proposals.
During the Post Award Phase this includes:
  • Assisting and coordinating "Post Award Conferences";
  • Communicating with the various parties involved in the performance of the contract, such as the buyer, engineer manufacturing and marketing personnel to assure clear understanding of the performance requirement;
  • Clarifying delivery schedule requirements and establishing contract administration schedule (as a Gannt Chart);
  • Managing contract modifications and "Change Order Procedures";
  • Managing "Value Engineering" Procedures;
  • Assuring on time delivery;
  • Managing "First Article Approvals";
  • Presenting and submitting proper documentation such as COC, packing list and invoices;
  • Handling acceptance procedures; and
  • Collecting and distributing funds
