Today's global economy offers both opportunities and challenges for businesses seeking to penetrate their products into markets outside their immediate reach. It is not enough just to have a good product at the right price, you must also be able to reach and actively promote your products to local target customers. In order to support our client's in this regard, Mistral has developed two worldwide distribution networks. One network is targeted to the defense (government and commercial), industrial and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) sector, while the other distribution network serves the security, law enforcement and public safety sector.
Security & Law Enforcement Distribution Network
In order to market and support the security and law enforcement
products that it offers, Mistral has developed an extensive
distribution network covering North and South America,
Europe, Australia, the Middle East and the Far East.
This network consists of a combination of distributors,
representatives, and resellers who focus on particular
geographic areas and market segments.
Mistral's distributors are local organizations familiar
with the assigned territory and the products that manage
the entire territory and the marketing activities. These
distributors usually maintain inventory to better respond
to local demands and are responsible for strategic marketing
as well as sales within their territories.
Mistral's representatives are smaller local organizations
that aid the distributor with tactical sales in a designated
segment of the territory in which they have a particular
expertise.
Mistral also utilizes resellers to complement its distributor
and representative networks. These organizations consist of
companies and/or individuals with specific accounts who wish
to resell Mistral's products in their territories. Usually
the sale will be done on behalf of the distributor or Mistral.
Mistral's Washington D.C. office is responsible for
coordinating the North and South American distribution
networks while Mistral's office in Israel is responsible
for coordinating and supporting all other territories.
Defense/Industrial/OEM Distribution Network
In order to market and support its client's industrial and
defense products and capabilities, Mistral has deployed two
types of distribution/agents networks in the U.S. Europe and
Israel. This consists of a network of agents and service
contractors who provide information on government projects
and assist in communicating with major government buyers.
These agents are located near U.S. DOD buying centers such
as TACOM, CECOM, Kelly AFB and have regular access to these
centers.
Mistral has also established a network of exclusive marketing
representatives, each responsible for a specific geographic
territory. These representatives market Mistral's industrial
capabilities including casting, machining, sub-assemblies,
oil seals, cables to OEMs located in the relevant territory.
Although Mistral has extensive distribution networks already in
place, we recognize that certain products, capabilities, and
technologies may have special requirements. For this reason,
our marketing team carefully analyzes your products and your
specific targets to determine if your goals will be achieved
through our existing networks. If we determine that our existing
networks are not the appropriate platform for your products, we
will identify the right local organization or individual to work
with us and our local distributor to provide the specific marketing
and support that your product requires.
