Teaming
The ability to establish cooperative business arrangements with other companies, sometimes even with competitors is one of the key mechanisms for overcoming market restrictions (i.e. Small Business Set Aside or Mobilization Base), penetrating a market or winning a project at a lower cost and within a shorter timeframe. By utilizing each team members' relative advantage, the overall team's effectiveness and efficiency increases, as does the probability of success.

Mistral has been advocating and utilizing the teaming approach for many years both for its own activities as well as for those of its clients. We have established a range of teaming arrangements across various products, technologies and markets. Some of these agreements are limited to cooperation on a specific project, while others are more extensive joint ventures covering marketing and/or manufacturing of a total product line.

Mistral utilizes a teaming process for its clients that includes:

  • evaluating the market positioning of a client's product or technology;
  • identifying the most appropriate manufacturing or marketing company; and
  • negotiating the most beneficial teaming arrangement.
