Mistral offers a variety of technologies for ballistic protection vests in various levels of protection from NIJ II up to NIJ IV+. The ballistic plates are made from Alumina, with ballistic resistance combined with multi hit capabilities, B4C, a material offering light weight with protection from AP rounds, and the patented PL-2000 plate, offering light weight with a high level of protection and multi hit capabilities. We offer plates in single curve, double and multi-curved front and back protection. We also offer modular vests with removable collars and groin protection.

Mistral understands the threat and can meet the requirement to supply people with quality protection in their daily lives. Most vehicle armor kits come standard with glass and cab protection. We can offer privately engineered kits to your specifications and needs. We specialize in the higher threat levels of ballistic and blast protection.

We also offer a portable kit for the occasional use that can be stored in your trunk and offers protection up to 7.62 caliber. Additional features that are offered in conjunction with your armor kit include run flat tires, automatic door locking system, alarm system, jammers, engine fire suppressant, gun-ports (used in money handling vans), tear gas or pepper spray sprinkler system, intercom, cash safe, and air purification (anti-gas) system.

When added to the vehicle, the kits DO NOT EXCEED manufacturer's weight specifications and thus do not void the warranties. The kits take into account budget vs. threat level and, using the most advanced materials, provide a designed system to achieve the best results.
