Aviation Security Module
This module is comprised of 13 topics that can be presented at different levels according to the professional background and position of the participants (recruits, experienced employees or managerial level). The module has been put together by world experts in the field of aviation security and the presenters will be experienced aviation security specialists with proven record in the field of training and instruction. The course duration will vary from 3 days to several weeks depending on the level of training required by client.

SKY MARSHAL TRAINING COURSE
The purpose of this course is to prepare and train the participants for the role of an operational sky marshal. The course will provide the necessary skills required for this role which include: specialized shooting, martial arts applications in aircraft, operational theory for both routine and emergency situations based on actual case analyses and tactical drills. The course's duration is two weeks and is intended for well trained law enforcement or security personnel. Sky marshal courses for personnel with less or no training will need to be longer depending on previous anti-terrorism experience and customer needs. The course will be instructed by international experts in the field of aviation security with the emphasis on in flight security.


Event/Installation Security and Antiterrorism Course
This course is comprised of 14 modules that can be presented at different levels (new recruit, experienced officer and security managers) according to the professional background and function of the participants. The course has been put together by world experts in the field of protective security and the presenters will be experienced security specialists with proven record in the field of training and instruction. The course is ideal for law enforcement officers needing skills in protective security and antiterrorism. The course duration will vary from 3 days to several weeks depending on the level of training required by client.

SEMINAR: COMBATING THE THREAT OF SUICIDE TERRORISM
Due to the very real threat that the free world is facing from "Global Jihad" and the dangerous phenomenon of suicide terrorism, which is both increasing in numbers of attacks and spreading to new areas, this seminar is in great demand all over the world. The seminar includes several presentations which analyze the threats, emphasize case studies and the operational lessons to be learnt, and also anti-terrorism doctrines to combat this very serious threat. The duration is one to two days depending on whether tactical training is required.

DIGNITARY/VIP PROTECTION COURSE
Mistral's training experts include former senior US Secret Service personnel who can provide both VIP security planning and training according to customer's special needs with the highest levels of professionalism and discretion.
Training will deal with all three modes of protection that VIP’s require:

  • At permanent installations (home, office)
  • During travel or movements (walking, car, plane etc.)
  • At events
The training will include basic and advanced protection principles, tactical exercises, operational planning and simulations. The course duration will vary from 3 days to several weeks depending on the level of training required by client


Management Team
JOHN W. MAGAW- Management advisor
Mr. Magaw was appointed by the President as Under Secretary of Transportation for Security to design and launch the new Transportation Security Administration, created by the Aviation and Transportation Security Act of 2001. The position was responsible for securing all modes of transportation, including rebuilding the public’s post-September 11 confidence in the Nation’s air travel, with a balance of excellence in security, regulation and customer service.

 

Prior to that appointment, Mr. Magaw served as Director, Terrorism Preparedness for the Federal Emergency Management Agency. Mr. Magaw also served as Director, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms for 6 years, following the departure of the agency's top executives following the Waco incident. The efforts of ATF contributed to the arrest and prosecution of the Oklahoma City bombing perpetrators. Mr. Magaw has also served as Director of the U.S. Secret Service, as well as Special Agent in Charge, Presidential Protective Division.
